Last week was a significant one for the CoNurse team, with key members of our leadership and design departments attending high-profile events across Europe. From Luxembourg to Vienna and Helsinki, our team was busy sharing our vision, refining our strategies, and networking with industry leaders. Here’s a look at the exciting events we participated in:
Luxembourg Venture Days
Karmen Markov, our CPO and co-founder, represented CoNurse at the Luxembourg Venture Days during the pitching session. This prestigious event gathered professionals and investors from across Europe, providing a platform for cutting-edge startups like ours to pitch their innovative solutions. Karmen delivered an engaging pitch about CoNurse, highlighting our revolutionary approach to nursing and healthcare.
The event also featured informative sessions and was a valuable opportunity for networking with top-tier investors and business leaders. These interactions help fuel the growth of CoNurse, further positioning us as a key player in the digital health sector.

EIT Health InnoStars bootcamp
Meanwhile, David Moreno, our head of Marketing, attended a bootcamp in Vienna, organised by EIT Health and SpinLab – The HHL Accelerator. The focus of this intensive bootcamp was on how to grow a startup and prepare it for the investment market. This experience has equipped us with enhanced strategies to expand CoNurse’s reach and strengthen our investment-readiness as we look to scale our presence globally.
David took part in insightful sessions on market positioning, investor relations, and startup growth, as well as how to deliver a good pitch. This knowledge will be key as we work towards our next phase of growth, ensuring we are well-positioned to attract the right investment to accelerate our expansion.

Health Design 2024
In Helsinki, Merike Liiva, our UI/UX Designer, attended Health Design 2024 at the Aalto University, an event focused on UI/UX in healthcare applications and general healthcare topics. This event provided deep insights into the evolving trends in user interface and user experience design within the healthcare industry, which are critical for CoNurse’s continued success.
Merike’s participation in sessions on the latest design innovations ensures that our platform remains intuitive and user-friendly, while staying at the forefront of healthcare technology trends. Her experience in Helsinki will help us further refine our platform, ensuring it meets the highest standards in usability and functionality.

Moving forward with enhanced insights and strategies
The events of last week provided our team with invaluable insights and connections that will fuel our ongoing growth and innovation. At CoNurse, we are committed to revolutionising healthcare through our innovative solutions, and these experiences are helping us take significant strides towards that goal.
